Finaero: 2014 marks significant progress and major developments

The year 2014 was marked by significant progress in operating performance of the group and an improvement in our delivery reliability. The 2014 revenue was € 119 million, 5% up and the group recorded for the 1st half – from October to March 2015 – an 8% activity increase in line with its roadmap, supported by strong aerospace markets.

After opening a subsidiary in Morocco in September 2014, the group continued in 2015 to strengthen its position by signing contracts and projects both in France and abroad (Germany, China and UAE). These major projects will require significant investment and will allow the business to double by 2018.

Christophe Cador, Group CEO, says “Even if we have to face a sharp slowdown in certain programs and markets such as business aviation in Europe and rail, I remain confident in our business growth. The teams, of which I am very proud, have, set their primary objectives as continuous improvement of our industrial performance and reliability of ramp-up programs. Further, we are strengthening our innovation efforts by completing the acquisition of a stake in an innovation laboratory specializing in our business and have launched a robotization program targeting anti-corrosion treatment services on aircraft components. Finally, we are considering launching a significant presence in North America in 2017. ”
